Think of it as catering to an individual boater or boating family’s 'lakestyle.'
By bringing all four together as one company, each can sell products and services that the others offer. Click here for a linked Table or PDF of the chart of services. You can also visit our Ship Store to find boating supplies and accessories.
The Marinas on Lake Loudon currently serves over 500 boaters with dry and wet slips but the goal is to also appeal to the thousands of boaters in East Tennessee with trailered boats and those who live on the water with their own dock. Standard marine services are available:
- boat supplies and accessories
- fuel, pump-out service
- launch ramps
- ship’s store
- snack bar
- full service dining (at three of the four)
- fiberglass & engine service
- cleaning & detailing
- rentals
Since rentals are a part of marina life, The Marinas on Lake Loudon can accommodate a family’s needs whether they want to spend two hours or two weeks on the lake with canoes, fishing boats, personal watercraft, and paddle, pontoon and houseboat rentals.
Certified mechanics service all three marinas and attend service schools annually to stay current. Customer satisfaction is the goal, especially since many people view fiberglass and engine service at marinas as typically slow and unresponsive. Excellence across the board in service and maintenance is the goal.
Also, because there are marinas located on the north, south and west sides of the lake, boaters can get to any one of the three, or personnel at The Marinas can get to the boater faster if there's any trouble.
The Adventure
People who invest in a boat built for overnight stays want to be able to take it somewhere! A fun destination on the lake is important. The Marinas on Lake Loudon had a series of excursions in the 2002 boating season, both guided day trips and overnighters.
Trips planned range from a Poker Run (kind of the boater’s version of a road rally to all four marinas to try for a winning hand) to an overnighter to Chattanooga for a shoreline party with music and catered buffet. One reason for the trips is so boaters can hang out together. Another is education. Some boaters, especially new ones, never leave the lake because they don’t know how to navigate the locks. On these trips, an experienced guide will show them every step it takes to successfully maneuver the area lakes and enable them and their guests to enjoy their boat to the fullest.
The Passion
Which gets back to the company’s tagline—Discover the Passion!
Above all, with this new vision for the East Tennessee boating public, the partners invite current boaters and boater wanna-be’s to discover their boating passion—and indulge it—at The Marinas on Lake Loudon.
